A buffet is a system of serving meals in which food is placed in a public area where the diners generally serve themselves. Buffets are offered at various places including hotels and many social events.
We had a buffet service on the last Tuesday so we prepared a selection of terrines, stuffed eggs, selection of salads: pasta salad, potato salad and tomato salad. There was also a platter with ham, turkey breast, salmon and a selection of desserts.
